Description
There’s no shortage of printed vacuum cups out there. Most are exactly what you’d expect — a shroud with a hose barb, good enough to keep dust off the floor. The RDTL Drilling/Plug Cutting Vacuum Cup was engineered to actually move debris, not just contain it.
Two Dedicated Models one for 1-7/8″ wet/dry vac hoses and one for 2-1/2″ wet/dry vac hoses. If you use a size that isn’t covered, let me know. The design is fully parametric, so I can produce a custom fit for your hose without starting from scratch.
Available in two sizes: fits 1-7/8″ wet/dry vac hoses (DeWalt DXV series and similar) and 2-1/2″ wet/dry vac hoses (Shop-Vac, Ridgid, Craftsman and similar). Tapered socket for a snug friction fit. Not compatible with DeWalt AirLock dust extractors.
Offset port placement induces a swirl inside the cylindrical cup instead of a straight pull — reduced dead spaces for debris to settle into; it stays in motion and gets swept toward the vacuum path.
Chamfered inlet smooths airflow into the cup and increases airflow.
Narrowed inlet throat acts like a venturi — air speeds up as it’s squeezed through, giving you stronger pickup of debris without needing a bigger shop vac.
Now with a removable access panel so you can position the cup with a bit already installed and hovering above the ball, ready to drill.
No vacuum cup keeps a drilling area perfectly clear — but in side-by-side use, the difference is night and day. This one noticeably outperforms anything else I’ve tried.
