Conventional thumb inserts are limited by the tools used to make them. A drill press can only do so much. But Fusion 360 parametric design and precision FDM manufacturing have no such limitations — which means we can engineer custom oval geometries, curved bores, personalized engravings, and relief cuts for bone spurs and unusual thumb shapes that are simply impossible any other way.
You provide your measurements
Thumb bore size, X/Y offsets from your DRO, name to engrave, and any special requirements like bone spur relief. Our calculator converts your pro shop measurements to exact Fusion 360 parameters.
Parametric design update
We enter your parameters into the Fusion 360 model. The geometry updates automatically — oval dimensions, angle, relief cut position and depth, personalized engraving. Every insert is engineered specifically for your thumb.
Precision FDM print
Printed in ASA filament — impact resistant, UV stable, and dimensionally accurate. The printer's multi-axis calibration system ensures tight tolerances throughout the print.
Acetone vapor finishing
A custom-engineered vapor concentration tool directs acetone vapor specifically into the inner bore — smoothing the surface to a finish indistinguishable from a machined insert. This is what makes the difference.
Quality check & ship
Every insert is inspected before shipping. Dimensional verification, surface quality check, engraving confirmation. If it doesn't meet our standards it doesn't ship.
